The river Pliva is a left tributary of the Vrbas, about 33 km long, and it flows through the territory of the municipality of Jezero in a length of about 6 km. It flows into the Great Pliva Lake, which is a natural accumulation for HPP Jajce I. In the settlement itself, Lake Pliva builds waterfalls and divides the settlement into two islands where about 350 inhabitants live. Locations along the Pliva River are suitable for the construction of mini power plants, fishing-fly fishing as well as extreme sports rafting and diving. In the center of Jezera there is an attractive location for the construction of a hotel-motel on the coast. All infrastructure is easily accessible and easily solvable. Having in mind the fact that the municipality of Jezero, with respectable natural potentials such as hydrography, forest areas, geographical position, tourism represents a great development opportunity for this extremely underdeveloped municipality.
